Alessandra Esposito is a free-lance consultant in the area of Computer Science and Information Technologies, with a focus on networking, web and grid applications for research in universities and small, medium and large companies.
She received her laurea degree (with honors) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples. Between 1990 and 1994 she was with IBM Scientific Center in Rome, Italy. In 1994 and 1995 she was a system engineer for Sodalia, Trento, Italy, involved in research and development in the area of distributed systems. Since 1995 she has cooperated with several research institutions, universities and business companies, in the framework of educational, research and industrial projects. She authored about 90 papers in international conferences and journals. She is co-author of the book “Grid Computing for Electromagnetics” edited by da Artech House.

Laura Corchia was born in Gallipoli (Lecce, Italy), on May 12, 1980.
1999: High-scool diploma at the Istituto d’Istruzione Tecnica (commerciale-nautico) “A. Vespucci” of Gallipoli (Lecce, Italy).
2004: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Engineering at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy),  thesis titled “Fabrication of three-dimensional microstructures through imprint lithography”.
2007: Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (final mark 110/110) at the University of Salento, thesis titled “Design of a programmable-gain filter in CMOS 90 nm technology  for UWB receivers”.
2011: Ph.D. in Information Engineering at the University of Salento, thesis titled ” Microwave Devices and Antennas for Innovative Wireless System”.
2011: she worked on a research project titled “Reconfigurable antenna for intelligent RFID systems – SAIL (Smart Antenna for Items Localization)” awarded by Regione Puglia ((Avv. 19/2009 – RITORNO AL FUTURO – Borse di Studio).
Laura Corchia is currently a research fellow at the Electromagnetic Laboratory of Lecce (Department  of Engineering for Innovation , University of Salento ). Her research is focused on the design of wearable rectennas and reconfigurable antennas.

Danilo De Donno was born in Cursi (Lecce), Italy on March 16th, 1983. In 2002, He received the secondary school diploma from the “Liceo Scientifico Statale Leonardo Da Vinci” (Maglie, Lecce, Italy). He graduated (cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering (1st level degree) at the Politecnico of Milan (Italy) in 2005 discussing a thesis that investigates radio propagation at 60 GHz by Ray-Tracing simulations. In 2008, He received a Laurea Specialistica degree – 2nd level – (cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan (Italy) with a thesis concerning the optimal placement of multiple interconnected Gateway in heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks. In 2009, He received the certificate of attendance to a training course on wireless Systems and ZigBee communication protocol completed with a period of apprenticeship with Clio S.r.l. He currently collaborates with the Electromagnetic Fields Group at University of Salento. His research activities are mainly focused on: GPU computing for high performance solving of electromagnetic problems, Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Cognitive Radio for RFID systems, optimal planning of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN).
